i took my time to get more followers. instead of trying to grab attention, i just focused on being a cool and interesting/good presence on the website. i aimed to make real connections and offer something valuable so that people would naturally want to follow me.

i'd include examples of attention-seeking behavior, but i don't want to create negativity by calling anyone out.
