Did you know: in 1943, after Coca-Cola invented the Santa Claus, they decided to create reindeers that helped Santa deliver his billions of presents. One of them, the Red nosed reindeer, was named after the current german dictator in order to mock him. The red nose was a way to represent segregation and mocked the figure's ideas by making him different from others and therefore segregating him. Yes, it was common to make fun of his particularly red tinted nose at that time.
