On a similar note, YouTube doesn't allow the in-app miniplayer to work when the video is marked as "made for kids". The reason for this is beyond me.
And it also happens in YT Music, which is VERY annoying.

the google store, for whatever reason, is age restricted. so every time i want to view the google store, i have to open a private browser tab. there is absolutely no reason for google to do this

    it would be funny to imagine it's so kids don't have a video on the side while playing games as well, but we all know they'd probably never think of that
