hard to keep a community active when all 90% of people talk about there is politics or having a stupid argument over lgbtq

  also the main issue with wo.m is that it's really hard to know everyone, at this point the discord server is more of a community than wasteof itself
  this doesn't happen on darflen (due to it's small community where everyone knows each other well + easy to find new people)

  + unless you already have 200 followers on wasteof nobody will ever see your posts in 600 years

  if you have over 50 it’s just a matter of being active but there’s basically no meaning to under 50 followers
  
  your first 10 followers are always follow everyone accounts anyways
  
  the best way to get popular on wo.m is (imo) to follow everyone and actually be active, like & comment on posts, a lot of people follow back
  
  when you have >50 followers it takes a while but you can get to the top, now i’m on the alpha.wasteof.money leaderboard

  you still get mostly forced to talk about to most generic stuff everyone else does or nobody cares
