i find it interesting how the phrase "game over" seems to carry a negative connotation of loss despite when taken literally it simply means the game has concluded without providing any information as to whether the player has either won or lost

yeah it has a negative connotation because 99% of the time its used , its used in a negative way 💔 -
probably because humans are not perfectly rational and would expect to see a "You win!!!!" rather than "Game over" at a victory
