I am excited to announce that I am running for Darflen Mayor this election!

Darflen has experienced many problems since our last election. As mayor, I will suggest and provide solutions to the following problems we, the Darflen community, are currently facing:

1. Inactivity on the platform
2. Lower post quality
3. Users signing up and immediatly leaving
4. Community spam
5. Trolls and impersonators
6. Moderation needing improvement
7. Dryness in the community
8. Less user enthusiasm to use the platform
9. Frequent controversy
10. Users having an absurd amount of alts
~~11. Qxva replying to ancient threads~~

But I can’t do this alone. By working together as a community, we could end these issues and build a strong, stable, and friendly community for all of us to have a part in.

I got into a car accident today.

This was my first time ever in a car accident. So here’s what happened: me and my family were driving on the highway after I got picked up from my summer camp. It was around rush hour time, and there was a lot of traffic and crashes on the road.

We are about 25-30 minutes from home, and the traffic ahead of us stopped extremely fast. Like insanely fast. My dad hit the brakes hard, nearly hitting the car in front of us. Then we got a blow from the back. It was another car. We just sat there, processing what just happened. My dad checked that we were okay, then checked on the driver that hit us. The woman who was driving it was okay.

But her car wasn’t. It was annihilated from the front, and ours was badly damaged from the back. We called 911 and an ambulance drove over, and confirmed everyone was okay. Then a tow truck and the police arrived and the tow truck moved the car that hit us to the side of the road, since we were blocking traffic. We also moved there. The woman’s car was so damaged it wouldn’t work.

Then we just sat there, waited until the police finished their work. The woman apologised for hitting us. She admitted she wasn’t paying much attention when we braked hard. We drove off, while the woman was still there, about to get her car towed.

Long day fr. We will get our car repaired tomorrow, and it will be done soon, if the repair shop wouldn’t have to order parts.

Started summer camp that lasts from 8am - 4pm. It’s honestly so brutal, especially the fact that I have to get up early in the morning during summer. It only lasts 3 more days though.

Going to Ireland next week as well! (For 12 days) 🇮🇪

Suggestion: Add the ability to add buttons onto profiles that redirect to different links, such as a social media account, post, etc. Kinda like how Wasteof does it, but everyone can add them. People also should be able to customize their color.

There should also be a pop-up after clicking the button that warns us that the link is outside of Darflen, if it is, and showing the actual link that we are about to get redirected to. This is to prevent people from being redirected to suspicious websites.

I feel like something like this has been suggested here, but idk...

I just got stung by a vibrant green caterpillar… It started off when I felt a stinging sensation on my fingers while biking, then noticing a big green caterpillar on my shirt. I returned home and got it off, and the pain is almost gone :)
