I am excited to announce that I am running for Darflen Mayor this election!

Darflen has experienced many problems since our last election. As mayor, I will suggest and provide solutions to the following problems we, the Darflen community, are currently facing:

1. Inactivity on the platform
2. Lower post quality
3. Users signing up and immediatly leaving
4. Community spam
5. Trolls and impersonators
6. Moderation needing improvement
7. Dryness in the community
8. Less user enthusiasm to use the platform
9. Frequent controversy
10. Users having an absurd amount of alts
~~11. Qxva replying to ancient threads~~

But I can’t do this alone. By working together as a community, we could end these issues and build a strong, stable, and friendly community for all of us to have a part in.

Life Update

I have been quite inactive recently, so here is a quick update on what has been going on.

- Exams
Currently in a season of testing, since it is May and this school year is almost over. Some were hard, but I don't think I failed any of them.

- Hobbies
I have been hitting the gym whenever I can and noticing some gains recently, especially in my upper body. I have been doing some small coding every now and then, and I contacted the school's IT guy to install VSCode on my school laptop so I can code during free periods.

- Learning to Drive
Due to the lack of time recently, I haven't gone driving too much lately. It has been around 2 weeks since I last drove. During the summer I will be going almost every day, aiming to get my license when I am skilled and experienced enough.

- Darflen
Not as active as I usually am, but I will be more active in the coming days.

Apparently my math teacher wants to start a YouTube channel, and me and another guy in the class are helping her to set up the camera, and decided how and who will edit the videos and make the thumbnail. This is really cool, I hope it all works out!

As a Floridian, I see fires all the time. They are usually small, and I only see a small pillar of smoke from a very big distance. But today, there was a pretty big wildfire close to my area. I drove nearby it once today, seeing it burn from a much smaller distance. There was a lot of smoke. Fortunately, we didn’t get the ashes raining down on us and bad air quality, since the wind was blowing the other direction

Couldn’t sleep, so I opened my window to hear the sounds of nature… I live next to a lake so I can hear the frogs and some other wildlife. Really cool!
