what if you want to eat something else / your family is in extreme poverty so can’t afford it -
the internet has social media propaganda workshops owned by governments -
Their primary purpose is to continue existing
Their secondary purpose is to appear like they're governing the people properly (whether they do this by governing the people properly or by other methods is up to them)
There's also economy involved there but I don't know where that fits in yet
