that's what I mean by self aware

we trust that the people around us are sentient and self-aware, but are they? how can we prove it? are they just automatons shells? -

self aware? idk I personally believe that self awareness doesn't develop spontaneously and people with constant validation simply won't develop it. now the question is... have most people met the conditions to reach self awareness?

Im not 100% sure. But probably not though. From my experience, most people only care for those who care for them. Not everyone is like that though. -
can't speak from experience, don't know enough people. most seem shallow from impression, for example people I see at school. but that's just an impression, probably almost everyone looks shallow from a simple impression. can't tell if most are actually self aware or not. I would need to know them
