An opinion on Contact (1997) that I wanted to put in my Physics submission but had no room for:
Why did the aliens make the device only let one person see everything? I can see wanting to stray away from physical evidence, but surely making it work for multiple people wouldn't have made it that much more difficult, right? They've been doing this for multiple other civilizations presumably, did they never think to do this in all that time‽
