Ah, but that's not all, there's a whole hierarchy to it. We also have another GC named "The Subcouncil (commoners's lot)" where we initially add people we like but aren't sure if they're trustworthy yet. After enough time, they may get ascended to The Council. Currently there are 12 people in the commoners's lot.

oh yeah? well, i got a gc called "Grief Noop Rd." (derived from "Friend Groop" which is the old gc name) that has 10 people. half of us are into making digital music, and the rest barely talk.
