Aparently kinematics isn't common knowledge to highschool graduates??
I just looked through the comments of one of the BS Callout by Physics Guy videos calculating the true speed of a baseball that was claimed to be thrown at 100mph and all the comments were impressed saying they didn't understand what he was saying.
I thought they teach this to kids in 10th grade.

Sci-Highschool is seriously messing with my perception of what is common knowledge...

    Classes have very different names where I study, I couldn't tell you.

      basically u differentiate position and velocity to get respectively velocity and acceleration but I don't think calc 1 is actually required for most kinematics courses
