The evolution discussion was very interesting but we all missed the entire point of the post:
"religion's blinding power is something everyone can potentially suffer from"
Basically being blind sighted by religion is something that can happen to anyone.
This isn't just a Religious thing btw this is mostly a belief based thing because religions are just a folder full of beliefs.
This can apply to eagle himself because eagle is very blind sighted by evolution, im not saying he is wrong or right but he is blind sighted, and even claims that his mother is blind sighted by religion because she doesn't believe in evolution (which personally i wouldn't say about anyone who doesn't believe the same things as me but you do you.) You could take this as being blind sighted by atheism but I wouldn't say that.
Besides that I myself was a little blind sighted myself where i was mostly not caring about the opinions of eagle or really anyone unless they agreed with me which I am sorry for, I should have a more open mind in this discussions, and I should actually spend more time explaining things and actually using sources.

Gerg 8 months agoI'm not blindsighted. If I found a single reason evolution doesn't work I would start to question it and maybe even look for alternative answers. Though religious explanations are usually even more wild. -
