me personally, i love Christianity. I think it has a lot of good teachings, as well as one of them being to not use the bible to oppress others. Not only that, it is very good for helping you move on with your life, as well as be a better person. Sin only leads to pain, and God doesn't want that. That's why there are rules against it. How does sin hurt you?
Pride leads to humiliation.
Gluttony leads to needing to consume more and more, not being satisfied.
Greed leads to wanting what's mine, and his, and theirs. You will never be happy until you have everything
Wrath only leads to anger against others and yourself. You will not be happy.
Lust leads to viewing others as objects, nothing more than tools for pleasure. Lust will not bring you happiness.
Envy only leads to you thinking you don't have enough. You will never be thankful.
And Sloth, leads you to be lazy. Never improve yourself, "there's always tomorrow, I can start tomorrow".
God leads you away from it, and even if you do sin, he forgives. Your shame from sins can be put to rest, and you are cleansed from it's filth.
What does God want from you?
Humility: Don't believe yourself to be better, as that leads to a crushed ego. Inspire others.
Chastity: Save yourself from lust, find someone you truly love.
Kindness: Respect others, don't be rude.
Diligence: Work hard, improve, keep going.
Patience: Be slow to anger, love your enemies, and trust God to deliver retribution.
Temperance: Don't be gluttonous, eat only what you need, and be thankful.
Charity: The opposite of greed. Share with others, and others will share with you.
In conclusion, my religion does not oppress people, nor say to hate on others for not believing.

Nice message, and I truly believe you live by that. -

thank you, I try my best. I do understand where you are coming from, as many people use the word of God to try and oppress others. That isn't God's love, but it is human nature. -

Unfortunately human nature is the only thing out there. But alas, if someone believes what they believe and they are living a happy, fulfilling life and doing good to others, who am I to complain?
