The thing that gets me about OCs and the reason I don't refer to any of my characters as OCs publicly is that the term is always associated with poor writing and design, so saying "Oh this is my OC, love them" and posting like a full body shot of them or something when you intend to make it big is shooting yourself in the foot before you even actually do anything.
It's a shame, though, cause I reeeally would like to post some character sheets.

thekeura 19 days agoa character isn't bad by itself for being an OC or self-insert, unless its an unoriginal recolor with 0 personality (looking at you, deviant"art")
