I don't understand why unlisted community posts don't have the tag with the community's name attached to them

unless you mean the visibility of the tag in the unlisted community, it shouldn't show anywhere else

  no unlisted is unlisted it means it doesn't appear in lists, the tag should still appear

  actually it should be a setting if you want community post to have the tag or not
