Friend and I found a huge scorpion outside the men's restroom at school the other day. Coincidentally, we were about to start our biology class. So we showed it to the professor and he said he wanted it for the Bio Lab so he drowned it in alcohol and froze it in the classroom fridge. It's been two weeks and he never took it, so I'm going to keep it for myself.
Does anyone happen to know how I can keep it from decomposing at room temperature?

I guess I could give it that treatment for some time then encase it in clear resin.

It is an option, but I want to preserve its color for as long as possible, and hopefully keep it dry too.

might make it brittle though
