fedora kinoite (or right now, aurora) has been a very decent experience thus far, updates/upgrades are much easier and the security is (in theory) better
only issue is that you can't use traditional rpms/dnf for programs, and thus you're really reliant on flatpak, which can be a mixed bag, sometimes flawless, sometimes annoying, sometimes it just doesn't work
honestly, i think this sort of thing would suit non-technical users who don't touch their underlying system much and mostly use internet-related things

i was using bazzite for a while, and it also doesn't use rpm packages, (this was a year ago when i wasn't that good at tech) and i had NO IDEA how to get packages.
