My lecturer once said on UX evaluation class that the think-aloud protocol (where the tester is instructed to say what they're thinking in usability testing) is not recommended for Asians (which I am) because they're tend to be more secretive
Kinda funny saying that because I always do think-aloud, testing or not. Even when I think no one should know what I'm doing. It just feels more satisfying
