ok after further thought i will now be standing under the "Maybe Abolish The Mayor" party
i vow to hold an official official poll on whether to abolish the role of mayor
if the majority votes in favour of "no", i will give up my role as mayor and call a new election

i'd like to preemptively announce my campaign for the 4th Darflen Mayoral Election, under the "Abolish The Mayor" party.
if i win, i vow to take steps to abolish the position of mayor for good and achieve the goal of making a classless society
