1 month ago (edited)you can make joinable ones darkpet-proof by going to one of your old communities, kicking all users except for oo (you'd ban him instead) and make it anarchy. -

that's the method i used, kicking instead of banning. i kick when the communities are joinable, because can still post in them if that's the case. i only ban when it comes to invite-only communities (i still sometimes kick them though).

steps to reproduce:
you need two accounts, account 1 and account 2
on account 1 create a community
join on account 2
transfer the ownership from account 1 to account 2
on account 2 you need to transfer the ownership back to account 1 AND ban account 1 at the same time. I did this by creating 2 windows.
Anyway, now that account 1 is banned and the community is ownerless, account 2 can just leave and the community is anarchy.-
idk if you have to transfer the ownership from 1 to 2 at the start but i did -
