Corndog has 50% implemented a update that will if I understand this right do the following:
1. Add a shadowban feature*
2. Unban (me)
* the shadowban will do the following:
Remove visibility from search
Disable likes
Disable reposts
Disable voting
Remove visibility from explore
Disable comments
Disable replies
Disable creations of posts
Basically this shadowban feature will unban MrMeems (me) but will remove every single way to engage with me or for me to engage with others.
Basically it will if im right (probably wrong) hide me from darflen more than when im banned 😂😂😂.
Paradock that isn't shadowbanning that's just being banned on twitter 😂

Edit: twitter's shadowban is alot less stricter it basically just hides your posts on your profile but thats what it this should be doing to be honest.

now, i don't think paradock implied that ALL of those features WILL be enabled ("planned togglables"), i think he meant that any of those can be enabled/disabled at any time (i may be wrong, though!)
i think this could be very useful, for example:
- restricting posting for users who consistently cause drama
- limiting users who spam interactions (loving, replying, etc.)
- allowing certain users to be on the site, but without the ability to post or interact
there are many other uses too
though, i dunno about the hiding from search feature; that seems a bit redundant
and, "shadowban" doesn't seem like the right term for this feature...
