i have never coded any app in GTK2 but should i make my darflen95 use it?

tkinter is actually supported by windows 95 but it's very limited and boring (tkinter not windows fuck you)

  ok fair enough but i hate any kind of web-based application it's literally just a cpu drain and is just proof of the developers being lazy

  wait when you say "tkinter is actually supported by windows 95" does that mean that when you finish darflen95 it will only work if you run it on windows 95?

  no lol, im not even sure that it will run on windows 95
  
  python 2 is supported by windows 95 with lots of weird cutting, but tkinter does work on python 2, and as i tested myself on a virtual machine, it works on windows 95
  
  the problem being connecting to the web, and not only do i have to fsck around to get urllib working on windows 95, also i'll have to find out if it can even support the modern https standards with all the capitalistic annoying fucking certificate bs
  
  also the larger problem is that i have to use python2, which is not only unsupported by most IDEs today, (also fuck visual studio code, like i dont care that it's "good", im more incline in using an actual tool designed to work with a language, that's like comparing a katana to a folding knife, and is also built by microsoft) it doesnt have half the features or modules from python3 that i constantly used

  yeah but wouldn't it only have the windows 95 style ui if you run it on windows 95?
  also i dont think https is possible on windows 95, only http.

  well basically every protocol is possible on windows 95 if you fuck around too hard, after all it's literally just sending and receiving bytes in a different way
  also yeah that's why it's not darflen95 anymore it's fucking DarTken lmao
