Blocking someone who isn't directly harassing you just because you find their opinions offensive or wrong is weak and perpetuating a dangerous echo chamber.
Sometimes truth hurts. And even if that person is truly just wrong, you can't be running away from problems. You must do something. Be it by parodying or openly criticizing, even debating (if you feel like wasting your time). But blocking is just sticking your head in the ground like an ostrich. It solves nothing.

I find this opinion offensive. Blocked. -

Opinions can also be correct statements. Also I said sometimes. "Trump is good" and "Trump is bad" are both opinions. And if someone thinks he's a saint, saying that he's not is gonna hurt them, but it is true. -
Opinion: A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof
opinions can be correct but in the end they're just judgements, I don't see why we're shaming the block feature here😹 -
Not necessarily sustained by positive knowkedge or proof. It also could be. And my point still stands.
Also I am not shaming the block feature as a whole. Like I said, it's very good and useful if you're being directly harassed.

I was always more of a "silently psychoanalyze them to figure out what even got them there" kind of guy
