  i don't understand the obsession with wanting severe weather in your area, my brother talks about the same stuff all the time while also being partly afraid of thunderstorms... i just don't get it

  im afraid of thunderstorms as well just like your brother (well, who's partly afraid of them as you've said.) like, sure im, you could say obsessed with it but if the rain is too heavy and there's so much thunder and all of that stuff then holy shit im gonna think im gonna die due to a tornado. including if it's at like, night or smth. but yea, i kinda can understand why you don't get the severe weather obsession.
