a few little things this site could maybe use

- colored text (ive heard this used to be a thing but got removed? wonder why)
- language metadata for posts (ive seen a few people speaking other languages here)
- ability to spoiler-mark images/GIFs (could be used to mark GIFs with flashing lights)
- more detailed notifications page (lowkey odd that it doesnt tell you WHAT post exactly someone liked)
- custom profile background (not the banner, this would be a special background for the entire page. youtube for example had this feature until 2015 or so)

Maybe users with over a month of inactivity should be removed from the explore page. That way we can encourage more activity.

I switched Darflen to Spanish out of curiosity and have noticed a lot of strange grammar and some orthographic mistakes. I'll publish a list soon (with suggestions to correct them) so it may be changed. If anyone else's native language is Spanish, I would appreciate your ideas as well.

thoughts on the concept of a darflen dislike button?

particular ideas:
- dislikes may show separate from likes instead of subtracting from the like count, similar to how youtube did it before they started hiding dislikes completely
- dislikes could be fully visible in notifications, showing exactly who disliked your post. this could either make beef escalate faster or keep people hesitant
- people should be given the option to turn off dislikes per post or per profile, in the event of dislike bombing
- dislike bombing ideally should be punishable
