has anyone stored every Darflen post yet? I know the Wayback machine only has a small fraction of posts saved and with the annual post wipe incoming, it'd be nice if we kept the older posts as a souvenir

i hate the new and trendy "chat gpt" dependency where people rely solely on chat gpt to inform themselves and make choices

these models are basically stupid ahh dogs that chew up random stuff they find on the internet until it forms a weird soggy mix of junk and then spits it out in a deceptive and coherent manner... like sometimes something true comes out of it but a lot of scenarios it's just gunk

if you need a personal recommendation what happened to browsing real feedback from real people who lived real experiences? what happened to going straight to reliable news sources? people seem to forget that chat gpt isn't a know it all god that knows the solution to everything. chat gpt is just one of many tools you can use and particularly one that isn't reliable at all by itself

vent post because i personally know people in real life that just completely gave up on critical thinking and use it for literally anything.. what happened to browsing many websites and reading stuff written by actual humans...
