this is why you DO NOT use robot hallucinations to write an entire platform, especially one that handles sensitive info like login credentials, phone numbers and internet protocol addresses - or requires proper AAA -
AI is NOT a substitute for programing experience. AI should be restricted to zero-stakes operations like non internet enabled microcontroller prototyping, offline proof of concept only software or otherwise only in cases where YOU are able to AUDIT the code, PERSONALLY.
AI will often introduce new vulnerabilities or bugs, often completely unrelated, when patching another due to its inherent schizophrenia - the Microsoft Corporation has done a GREAT job of demonstrating this phenomenon, first hand for many as its all in the production environment too!
what could possibly go wrong!!!!
the silver lining here is blaze only has like 3 users meaning theres virtually no victims of this vulnerability
also please, stop with the corny ass "we" shit; we all know this is a one man circus of a failed social media platform, don't add corporate slop on top of your AI slop.
and now i will leave you with a great quote of before my time, from the one and only IBM Corporation
“A computer can never be held accountable,
therefore a computer must never make a management decision.”
- an IBM Training Manual, 1979.

ATTENTION BLAZERS!
We are here to provide an update regarding the current situation that's happening on the Blaze platform. In case you weren't already aware, Blaze is currently being shut down due to a situation where a malicious hacker has managed to compromise the IP addresses of individuals who made an account on the platform. As we stated in our last post, we will not be making our website available until the situation is fully fixed and the personal data of our users is fully secure.
We are happy to announce that we have been making significant progress towards making Blaze a more secure platform for all users. After a recent inspection by a 3rd party individual who we will not name for privacy reasons, we are happy to report that the personal data of our users have been secure, at least so far. As you will see in the screenshot, we have a receipt proving that we have taken the situation with utmost importance and have made some significant progress towards patching any security vulnerabilities.
However, as amazing as this is, there are still things that need to be done, which means we will not be republishing the site as of yet. We are still inspecting the edge functions, RLS policies, and authentication measures to ensure that both current and future users will not have their personal data compromised.
As of now, the ETA on when the website can return back to normal is 1-2 days. This can change at any time, so it is important that you follow us and stay informed on when everything is fully fixed.
Thank you for your patience, and we promise to keep you updated on the situation. Stay safe, Blazers, the flame will never die.
Sincerely,
Blaze
