its interesting how is causing one of the problems with the mayor role (making people believe it has "power") and then he uses the consequence of his and others' actions to say why it should be removed

breaking news: calling a poll "official" does not make it official unless pardoc says it does
[edit 2 (well, 3 because there was a typo edit ("braking news")): actually, I do think official polls can be made but in very specific circumstances, for example the polls involving the darflen wiki by fungi. doesn't count if its a "first n votes" though.]

also, wtf has happened to the darflen community to want to abolish the role of mayor because of drama? ~~we should just put jinx as permanent mayor because there was only perfection during his time~~

edit 1 (well, 2): actually, keeping mayoral elections is better but it just seems that lots of people have incorrect notions about what the mayor can do - which is, basically nothing. see comments for shouty rant.
edit 3 (well, 4): okay so if the mayor can only do some things, and since our world is fatally flawed, we have to define them. i can't define anything to do with mayor restrictions because i have no POWER (that's the big issue isn't it POWER), but we have to define them anyways because we can't have nice things. so my proposal is (NOT official):
mayors can only;
- make official lore related decisions
