darflen lore (wip)
note: while the rules do state all posts must be in darfish, for the sake of space this post shall be in englfish :) (translated from the darf scroll by masters of darfish)

in the beginning, there was something else, but mr. paradock wiped it by accident, rip.
so a land was created, called the darflands. a mysterious fish called darf serving as a bit of a messenger between the darfriends and mr. paradock
but then, in the neighbouring half a dimension away, there was a much older, useless and broken force called “blaze”. called that because it was shit on fire, blazing everyone. and seeing as new neighbours had warped their way into a similar part of space-time, KyleTech (the owner of blaze) sent a cat made of fire, adequately and unimaginatively named firecat, to investigate. but the clever darfriends made a parody plot armour protected version of blaze but better, named blaze_app. how did the darfriends, specifically jinx (i think) make it better?
well, while almost nothing had survived from the previous era, mr. paradock did have a few things: scrolls. there were several; the scroll of sigma, the scroll of darf (previously the empty scroll) and since this lore is a wip i will be adding them while the story progresses and more are needed :)
anyways, mr. paradock, seeing the problems with blaze, gave the darfriends the scroll of sigma and they were able to make blaze_app better than firecat
meanwhile, one of the darfriends (very much a real cat) prophesied that they would become the worst of the darfriends, and, guess what, they warp space time to go to Meower, a hidden island in a lake in the mountains whose population enjoys talking about stuff around campfires, and th real cat shouted about their server on discord (a big spaceship with aims to take over the universe)
and then the real cat got chased out of the mountains and when arriving back at the darflands got kicked into space by mr. paradock, fulfilling the prophecy.
but at least some new darfriends had joined! meanwhile, the war between blaze and blaze_app raged on, until firecat got sprayed by a fire extinguisher darf had in his pocket the entire time, and firecat became wetcat then went home.
then, darf converted everyone to darfism and everyone spoke darfish and mr. paradock gave darf an empty scroll, the 2nd scroll, to write the story of darflen in (which is why it’s slightly biased).

that’s all the lore there is so far. tell me if there are incoherences, things i forgot, or things you don’t like and i’ll try to fix it :)

i think the blaze vs blaze_app war is actually really cool
i was working on lore for darflen a while back, before the posts were wiped in the Great Big Post Wipe
maybe this war should be in the lore?
so i was thinking, darflen and blaze could be neighbouring countries/continents/dimensions
and for a currently unknown reason, they had a war of fire and wolves
but eventually, darf comes along and converts the darfriends to darfism and makes darfish the official language and they write a book of events in darfish
and then, more stuff happens like wars and a community centre for the darfriends but we don’t worry about that for now
and eventually, darflen and blaze become friends and blaze stops advertising awfully
just a rough storyline idea so far, probably a lot of loose ends, tell me if you have suggestions/improvements
